2017 Season has started.

Today is the start to the 2017 season here in Maine. Although it has started today up here in Northern Maine there is still ice on all the fishing waters. If your like me you already have all your gear ready to go. About a month and a half ago I did the yearly maintenance on my rods and reels. Which includes a wipe down, oil/grease of the reel and new line. After I do that the next step is the test, the test is when I stand at the top of a snow bank over looking my yard and then casting it out there. but with all that work done I am very Anxious to go but until then enjoy Fishing Northern Maine
